If I can’t make it, what are my options?
Registrations are non-refundable.
You can transfer to the virtual event completing your race at a time that is more suitable for you.
You can defer your entry to the following year only. Please note to defer your entry there will be cost of $17.50 + HST in the following year when you register. As well you will need a code when registration opens for the next year.
Can I transfer my entry to another race?
Due to COVID-19 all races are capped at 250 and are presently sold out. It is not possible to transfer to another race. You can contact admin@valleyharvestmarathon.ca and request to be added to the waitlist for the preferred distance. If a spot opens someone will be in contact.
Can I pick my race kit up the day of my race?
There will be no kit pick up the day of any races. All kits must be picked prior to race weekend. New this year for 2020 is a kit up location in Dartmouth. Please visit the schedule of events for kit pick up times.
Can a friend or family member pick up my kit?
Absolutely. Please provide them with your confirmation number.
What safety protocols will be in place due to COVID-19?

Can I have support such as a pacer or bike support on my race?
Due to COVID-19 and the gathering limit of 250, pacers and any individual support is not permitted. Bicycles are a prohibited item-see below. The only bicycles permitted on the course are course marshals.
Where do the races start and what times?
Please visit the schedule of events for race starts and location.
Where are the hydration stations?
There will be a hydration station at the finish line of all races. For hydration station locations please refer to the route map of your distance under races.
Are pets, strollers or other equipment permitted on the race route?
To ensure our race events are safe for all participants, please note that baby joggers and strollers, baby backpacks/carriers, pets (whether on or off leash), roller blades, inline skates, scooters, skateboards, rickshaws and bicycles will not be permitted on the race route. Non-compliance with these safety rules will result in disqualification.
Will there be pace bunnies?
Due to COVID-19 and the physical distancing requirements, pace bunnies will not be offered at the Valley Harvest Marathon for 2020.
Do you provide awards?
Awards are provided for the first, second and third place male and female finish in each race. Awards are based on chip time not gun time. Due to COVID-19, there will not be an awards presentation in 2020.
Will there be food provided after the event?
Yes, we will provide pre-packed refreshments to all finishers.
Where can I park?
There is parking on side streets and around the Town of Wolfville. To view parking locations click here. Participants should allow for ample time to locate parking and get to the their race start. Please note due COVID-19 parking at the Acadia University will not be permitted in 2020. Please do not park in Church Parking lots.
